Nothing says Saturday afternoon, like spending time in a city park. Kris and I caught the tail end of the Piedmont Park Kite Festival..tail end, get it? Not a lot of kites by the time we got there, but the light was just great to capture some park life shots.
It was so much fun to stroll around and see all of the people leisurely going about their afternoons. There were puppies on blankets, children flying kites, dogs playing in the leaves, bike riders, new moms with their Starbucks cups and baby strollers, and lots of little tots running around in Halloween costumes – we saw everything from Dragons to butterflies. We hit up Trader Joe’s afterwards and picked out some fresh things for dinner. To warm up from our chilly afternoon we made a delicious red pepper puree pasta and grilled eggplant. Hit.The.Spot.Yum!
Excellent captures!
Thanks Kurt! 🙂
